The ACS ChemLuminary Planning Committee announced that the Greater Houston Local Section has been selected as a finalist for the following ChemLuminary Award(s):
- Younger Chemists Committee--Outstanding New Local Section Younger Chemists Committee
- Women Chemists Commitee--Outstanding Single Event Promoting Women
Recipients will be announced and the presentation of awards will occur at the 236th ACS National Meeting in Philadelphia, PA on Tuesday, August 19, at the Pennsylvania Convention Center– Ballroom 113 A-C. The presentations will include awards given by 15 committees of the Society.
